The Kissena Park Civic reached out to us last year, requesting traffic claiming at Rose Avenue and Parsons Boulevard. Crashes at that intersection have injured many of our neighbors including a motorcycle hit-and-run that severed the leg of a 77 year old pedestrian (he eventually passed away due to his injuries).

We just found out that our advocacy was successful and a traffic signal will be installed at the site. The tentatively competition date is scheduled for February 28th, 2018. We thank everyone involved in helping make our streets a little safer.
