On a humid July morning, nearly two dozen volunteers from Kissena Synergy worked in Eastern Queens Parks, enhancing overgrown trails as part of a grassroots forestry and trails program. Participants, including local students Tyler Tang and Dylan Chung, aimed to improve park safety and promote ecological health while reminiscing about their childhood experiences.
