Tell DoT Where You Want the Queens Waterfront Greenway

The Department of Transportation (DoT) is coming to Eastern Queens again to get feedback from you about the proposed Queens Waterfront Greenway. As you’ll remember, this will be a family safe path from Fort Totten all the way to Gantry State Park (where the midtown tunnel is), as much as possible following the bay.

As you may also remember, at the last vision session in Eastern Queens a group came in to disrupt the meeting and stop the project. If you care about improving the safety and access for your kids, come to the meeting to support this neighborhood investment in our future.

View on the Motor Parkway

This is going to be a major quality of life improvement, giving our kids safe access to their parks and schools. We already have some amazing greenways in Eastern Queens, like the Joe Michaels Mile and the Motor Parkway. These upcoming meetings are where you can tell the DoT which routes they should use, and how they should design the paths. This is your time to shape the community.
