Free Fat Tire Race at Cunningham Park

The great people at 718 Cyclery are throwing their second annual “Fat and Frozen” race at Cunningham Park on 2/4/17.

The race uses bikes with very wide tires (3.8″ or larger) that are great on snow and other loose terrain. If you don’t have a fat tire bike, you can borrow one of theirs for free.  There are 2 divisions (male and female), each with 4 skill levels (Advanced, Intermediate, Novice and Youth). Find the right spot for you, but sign up soon before it fills up:

All of 718 Cyclery’s races are fundraisers for CLIMB (Concerned Long Island Mountain Bikers), a great organization that volunteers its time to create and maintain the trails through our parks.

Last year’s race was a lot of fun so you won’t want to miss this one.

So sign up now to try something different in the new year with Fat and Frozen 2: Electric Boogaloo.
