Our waterways and parks need to be protected both for the global environment and for our neighbors. The Guardians of Flushing Bay are working hard to save and improve our coastline and are looking for your input to see what you want to see done in our neighborhood.
WHEN: Monday, July 30: 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM
WHERE: Queens Library Langston Hughes, 100-01 Northern Boulevard, Queens, NY 11368
COST: FREE!
Help launch the second stage of the Flushing Waterways Vision, a community-driven process that reimagines Flushing Bay and Creek. We need your input to transform the waterways into clean, accessible, and industry-friendly open space that the community and ecology deserve.
Participants will have a chance to learn more about the visioning process, ask questions, contribute ideas, and find out how to get involved in the next stage.
Check out the result of the first year of visioning, the Flushing Waterways Vision Plan, here: riverkeeper.org/flushingwaterways
Light snacks will be served.
