The Riders Alliance is putting together an action on Sunday, and they’d love for you to join them!
Queens riders are holding Subway Woes Bingo as part of our efforts to call attention to the need for congestion pricing to help fix the subways and buses and pressure Queens elected officials to pass it in the state budget.
On Sunday, March 10th, we will rally before breaking up into teams and heading to the 7 and R trains into Forest Hills and Flushing where riders will collect rider experiences in an attempt to fill a Bingo Board filled with categories such as Bus Issues, Accessibility, and Overcrowded Platforms. Individual riders who win “Bingo” will get prizes for their woes.
When: 12PM, Sunday March 10
Where: Diversity Plaza (or, in case of rain, Roosevelt Ave Station btwn 74th / 75th Street)
What: Subway Woes Bingo for #FixTheSubway Kickoff
We will reconvene at 2 PM back in Jackson Heights to have lunch and share the stories that we’ve collected.
