Hi my name is Juan Restrepo and I am the Queens Organizer for Transportation Alternatives. We are a non profit advocacy group that advocates and supports the rights of pedestrians cyclists and mass transit users.

For us, there is no citywide policy that will completely reshape our city in that image like Congestion Pricing. i want to take a more safety oriented approach to the benefits of Congestion Pricing.

Congestion Pricing is successful policy. It has already been tested in cities like London. The results have been fantastic. 40% reduction in total crashes. 80% reduction in crashes to cyclists. NYC needs those safety benefits. Flushing needs those safety benefits.
