Do you want a free bike helmet? Council Member Linda Lee is sponsoring a free bike helmet giveaway on Sunday, May 3, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The give-a-way is at at Holy Cow Playground, located at 197-49 Peck Avenue in Fresh Meadows. It’s the playground right behind St. Francis Prep High School.

Helmets will be distributed while supplies last. Adults age 18 and over who receive a helmet will need to sign a waiver, and a parent or legal guardian must be present to sign a waiver for children under 18.
